Some people call this ammonia or ammonium nitrate even though that is not accurate. They do so because 34-0-0 used to be readily available as Am Nitrate but due to it's explosive nature. What is available today is a blend and is not explosive.
Adds beneficial nitrogen to the soil. Not long lasting and must be applied frequently. Promotes above ground growth.
