Soybean 50# High producer for forage for livestock or wildlife. A non-GMO warm season annual legume that is very attractive to deer from the onset of emergence. Soybeans are an important food source for doves, ducks, rabbits, quail, and turkeys. Also offers cover. They are so preferred by wildlife that heavy pressure can kill small plantings. It will not regrow if browsed soon after emergence, so consider repellents or fencing initially or plant enough to compensate for the loss. It is ideal for mixing with sorghum, peas, clover, or other warm-season annuals. Stagger production by planting date to provide a longer grazing window. Plant March - August. 40-50 lbs per acre or 1 lb per 1000 square feet at 1" depth. These are not Roundup-Ready seed and will be killed if sprayed with glyphosate.
